Thanksgiving 1998 Fan Forum launches.

March 27, 1999 Goldenboy's Cheapo Chat is added to Fan Forum. First chat held between Goldenboy, squanto, Amber, Angela and Riley.

August 6-9, 1999 First Fan Forum gatherings are held. NetRanger, Angela, Goldenboy and SongGirl meet in Las Vegas, NV, while another group meets in Wilmington, NC.

August 28, 1999 Liz becomes an administrator on Fan Forum.

September 2, 1999 Liz's Jason Behr site, Behr Essentials, moves to Fan Forum; Liz insists on a Roswell forum to go along with it.

September 14, 1999 CourtneyGirl launches Area 51, the first Roswell fan site on the Web.

September 27, 1999 Area 51 becomes a Fan Forum site; Roswell message board launches with CourtneyGirl as moderator.

October 5, 1999 Elyssah launches Roswell Online.

October 6, 1999 Roswell premieres on the WB, following Dawson's Creek. Darien (squanto) is named as a co-moderator of the message board.

October 9, 1999 Goldenboy purchases the domain name crashdown.com; Roswell message board is renamed Crashdown.

October 17, 1999 Jim Sheasgren (Brendan Fehr's manager) posts on the message board as Mr. Manager.

October 20, 1999 Melinda Metz (author of the Roswell High books) posts on the message board as Melinda.

October 21-31, 1999 Influx of people to Fan Forum forces an upgrade to a larger server.

October 29, 1999 Area 51 / Crashdown publishes Darien's interview with Melinda Metz.

Late Oct/Early Nov 1999 #Roswell chat room is created.

November 7, 1999 squanto.net, the Fan Forum backup server, is launched.

November 19, 1999 squanto.net becomes host to jason-behr.com

November 27, 1999 brendan-fehr.com follows shortly after.

November 1999 Indecision regarding the direction of Area 51 and the Crashdown board results in few Area 51 updates, but the Crashdown message board continues to thrive.

Late November 1999 Stogy is named as a co-moderator of the message board.

Early December 1999 Brendan-Fehr.com receives authorized site status.

December 6, 1999 Goldenboy decides to relaunch Area 51.

December 15, 1999 Area 51 is relaunched as Crashdown.com with Darien (squanto) as webmaster.

William Sadler posts on the message board as MrV.

December 22, 1999 MrV sends a multimedia Christmas card to Fan Forum members.

December 24, 1999 Brendan Fehr posts on the message board as Spiderman.

Roswell Online is hacked, and Elyssah decides not to continue. Sudden demise of the largest and most popular Roswell site causes a huge surge in FanForum/Crashdown visitors.

December 28, 1999 Crashdown moves to the squanto.net server in an effort to reduce the impact on the main Fan Forum server.

January 14, 2000 Kenna and michec added as co-webmasters of Crashdown.

January 27, 2000 A flap over NC-17 fanfic and censorship nearly tears the site apart. Entire fanfic team resigns.

Late Jan/Early Feb 2000 LisaBham and Moonfire added as co-moderators for the message board.

February 12, 2000 First Roswell fan gathering held in Seattle, WA.

February 26, 2000 Los Angeles Roswell Gathering is held at Paramount Studios. Brendan Fehr and Majandra Delfino make a surprise appearance.

March 4, 2000 Rumors begin circulating that Roswell may not be renewed for a second season.

March 6, 2000 how.to/save_roswell site is launched as a focus point for renewal campaign information.

March 7, 2000 Mel and the Roswell Delphi Forum crew come up with the idea for the "Roswell is Hot!" campaign.

March 9, 2000 Fan Forum moves to a new dedicated server, and Crashdown returns to the main server.

March 16, 2000 Due to the enormous number of posts each day, the message board is split into two: Roswell 1 and Roswell 2. Kdberg, black widow and boop are named co-moderators of the new board.

April 4, 2000 The WB issues a press release stating that over 3,000 bottles of Tabasco sauce have poured in from the "Roswell is Hot!" campaign; the bottles are re-gifted to various media outlets across America.

April 9, 2000 Shiri Appleby posts on the message board as killercat.

April 10, 2000 Members of the Roswell production team post a thank-you to fans on the board.

Full page ad taken out in the Daily Variety by Roswell fans.

Roswell moves to Monday evenings, following 7th Heaven.

April 25, 2000 Crashdown receives its one millionth hit from Fehrocious.

May 3, 2000 Fehrocious added as co-moderator for Roswell 2.

May 7, 2000 Stogy returns as co-moderator for Roswell 1.

May 13, 2000 London2LA added as co-moderator for Roswell 2.

May 15, 2000 Season finale of Roswell airs.

May 16, 2000 Official announcement that Roswell has been renewed for 13 episodes.

June 9, 2000 Crashdown receives an "A" from Entertainment Weekly in their web site review column.

July 11, 2000 Brendan-Fehr.com moves to Fan Forum and the message board is launched with Paceysgal and Catalinay named as co-moderators.

July 21, 2000 Brendan Fehr posts on the Brendan Fehr message board.

August 5, 2000 Over 450 fans attend the Crashdown Summer Party at The Key Club in Los Angeles, CA.

The entire cast makes an appearance at the party and several cast members post on the message board: Jim Ortlieb (Nasedo) as MrHarding and Colin Hanks as MrKrinkle. Jason Behr, Katherine Heigl, Nick Wechsler and Emilie de Ravin also post under Goldenboy's name.

September 2000 Drcy and michec added as co-moderators of Roswell 1.

October 2, 2000 The second season of Roswell premieres on the WB.

October 6, 2000 On the one year anniversary of the Roswell premiere, the jason-behr.com site is renamed Jason Behr Unlimited and moves to Fan Forum. The message board launches with Dawnie and Kenna (kb) as co-moderators.

October 17, 2000 Crashdown celebrates its one year anniversary.
