A geologist finds the remains of Agent Pierce in the desert. The bones are brought into connection with Michael. Sheriff Valenti sees himself forced to arrest him, because he don't want to arouse suspicion. In hope to forget Max, Liz accepts a job in the office of congress woman Vanessa Whitaker. But she is not interested in politics only but also in extraterrestials. Because of that Whitaker arranges a radiological analysis of the bones. The aliens try to prevent, if they don't want to get linked to the bones...

Nasedo got killed. Before he dies in Max's arms he warns him of the "Skins". Max understands that he must take action, if he wants to protect himself and his friends. When the UFO Center gets a new owner - Brody Davis - the aliens first think that he's an alien enemy. Michael and Isabel feel that Brody is a threat and they even want to kill him. Meanwhile Tess finds a new home at the Valentis, but Kyle is not that lucky about it.

Isabel finds Tess outside the city in an old power station. There she comes up against Whitaker, who discloses her identity as an alien. She claims that Isabel betrayed her people and her brother in an earlier life to the race of the Skins.

In the context of a school project, Michael meets an old war veteran. He tells Michael, that he was part of the large covering up action of the military - after the UFO Crash in 1947. At that time he helped the Aliens and therupon he had to give up his carrer. Michael thanks him by revealing his true identity.

Liz meets Max, who came back from the future. He aks her to break up the relationship with the Max in the present, because their love would endanger the future of the entire mankind. Also Maria abides a hard examination of her relationship to Michael.
