But I feel hollow
Bound to a destiny I cannot, in my heart, follow

For it does not bring peace
Something that make my questions cease

It casts more doubt
Something I care no longer to flout

It breaks apart
A love so strong and stalwart

It pushes away
The pixie that brightens my day

Despite my assertion of fear
I cannot do without her here

I love her, maybe too much
But then, I always feel emotions as such

Never too little, never just enough
Especially when life gets rough

So I will leave the past to the past where it belongs
Chalk up destiny to an experiment gone wrong
