First “California” episode with Diane airs in October

As already reported, Diane Farr joins the “Californication” cast in its third season. She will play the character Jill Robinson.

For 10 episodes she is going to have a recurring role on the Showtime series.

The season is going to start in the fall of 2009.

In October the first episode with Diane Farr will air on the network. The episode “The Apartement” is episode 8 of the third season.

Diane Farr says her role is “girlie” and she’s looking forward to not having to channel yet another tough chick in uniform. She told EW in April:

“I am so excited to play someone who is girlie and wears a sundress without a gun or a fire hose in my hand.”

In addition, Diane Farr is going to star in the new CW show “Life UneXpected” which is also known under the working titles “Parental Disretion Adviced” and “Light Years”. Unfortunately it is not known, if Diane just makes an appearance in the pilot or if she’s part of the cast during the series.

Roswell’s Shiri Appleby plays the lead alongside Kerr Smith, Kristoffer Polaha and Brittany Robertson.
