Colin Hanks announced that he will be hosting a screening of “American: The Bill Hicks Story” on Sunday April 17th at 7 pm:

As some of you may know, Bill Hicks is one of the people I admire most in the world. I am a huge fan. He continues to be a great part of not only my comedy tatstes but also helped form a great deal of my philosphy on life and art. On Sunday April 17th at 7 pm, I am going to be a part of something very special. AMERICAN: The Bill Hicks Story will be screening in Los Angeles at the Sunset 5 theaters. Bill Hicks, the American stand-up comedian, musician, social critic died of pancreatic cancer at the age of thirty-two in 1994. According to Thecomicscomic.com, Colin Hanks will be interviewing Kevin Booth – Bill’s lifelong friend and producer, who was responsible for much of Bill’s audio output including posthumously completing Arizona Bay and Rant in E Minor to Bill’s specifications.
