Shiri: “Thank you for all the well wishes!”
Shiri Appleby and her fiancé Jon Shook are expecting their first child in March 2013.
Today, Shiri posted a thank you message via her public Facebook page. “Thank you for all the well wishes!” she says. “We can’t wait to meet our little Baby Shook!”
After the news had first broke on December 19th, the actress received many congratulations from friends and fans. Liz Tigelaar, the creator of “Life Unexpected” tweeted “So happy for @ShiriAppleby and Jon! can’t wait to meet Baby Shook! love you both!”
Roswell Fan Alyse posted a fun tweet with congratulations to the mom-to-be writing “In my head, Max and Liz are having a baby. (But in all seriousness, congrats, @ShiriAppleby!)”
In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, Shiri shared that they have decided to not finding out the baby’s gender. “He really wanted to do it, and it sounded like fun,” Shiri told the magazine. “It’s really made the whole pregnancy a heightened excitement because you just don’t know what it’s going to be!” she added.
Jon Shook, who is a chef/co-owner of the Animal restaurant in Los Angeles, asked Shiri for her hand in marriage this summer during their vacation in Ventotene, Italy. Shiri told Us Weekly of the proposal “One second you’re having lunch, the next you have a ring on your finger!”
