What’s Coming Next For Shiri?
The third season of HBO’s “Girls” is currently in production and Shiri Appleby will reprise her role. She joined “Girls” as Natalia in the second season of HBO’s Emmy-nominated comedy, which was just released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 13th, 2013.
“Girls” season three is coming up in 2014.
When Shiri chatted with Parade Magazine, she confirmed to be back on NBC’s firefighter drama “Chicago Fire”, as well. Shiri starred as Lauren German’s pregnant ex-girlfriend Clarice in a recurring role.
The second season of “Chicago Fire” will premiere on September 24th, 2013 at 10/9c.
A first trailer for the holiday movie “All American Christmas Carol” can be found online. Sadly, it doesn’t feature Shiri in it. Taryn Manning, Douglas Owens and Shiri Appleby are starring in this version of a Christmas Carol which is about “the tribulations of of a trashy, whiskey-soaked, unemployed hairdresser and mother [played by Taryn Manning] who is visited by three ghosts who try to show her a path to a brighter future.”
“All American Christmas Carol” is scheduled for release this holiday season.
Shiri recently wrapped another christmas movie, entitled “Last Chance Holiday”. Elizabeth Mitchell, Will Kemp and Debby Ryan are among the cast as well as Hannah Marks, who stars as the younger character of Shiris role. At the moment, we cannot provide any further information about the project or if it is scheduled for a potential release in 2013.
