On May 18th, Carina Adly MacKenzie answered some burning questions about The CW’s “Roswell, New Mexico”. When she was asked about the possibilities of making the former “Vampire Diaries” actor Paul Wesley an alien, she replied: “Paul will never be an alien but we’re hoping he’ll come direct an episode.”
In a recent Q&A on Instagram, the showrunner could announce the happy news. She just hired him to direct an episode of “Roswell, NM”.
The show based on the “Roswell High” books won’t premiere until midseason. Carina Adly MacKenzie also revealed on her Insta Story, that this TV version won’t be set in a fictional sort of America. “Nope. We’ll name him.” was her answer to this question. She added that “It IS a fictional Roswell, though.”
The first-time showrunner told fans that she knows how the season ends and that she knows how the series ends, when she was asked how far the story has been written or if it’s a script by script journey.

elena: What’s it like to work with @Michael_Trevino and Nathan Parsons again in a different type of supernatural manner?? Also, what are the possibilities of making @paulwesley an alien? 😁 Proud of you!!
Carina: Trevino is a dream, he’s so focused and dedicated. Nathan is my favorite actor to work with basically ever because we’re a team; we have each other’s backs no matter what. Paul will never be an alien but we’re hoping he’ll come direct an episode.
