Colin Hanks (The Good Guys) is taking on his toughest role yet. He’ll be playing Colin Hanks, the new celebrity friend of Dave (Zachary Knighton) on Happy Endings. It seems that Dave’s Steak Me Home Tonight truck becomes a Chicago hotspot with designer drinks. Hanks recently filmed the role and it will air on ABC later this season.

Kevin Weisman, who played Larry in the Roswell pilot and appeared later in The Convention as well, will play a recurring character in “Awake”:

Alias co-star Kevin Weisman will have a recurring role in NBC’s new Awake series. He’ll play a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde who haunts Detective Britton (Jason Isaacs) in both of his parallel worlds. The character apparently has information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life. Awake will debut sometime in the spring.

According to TV Line, Farr will play Amy Barron, a Type-A, business-minded owner of a small winery in North California. The episode is slated to air in February 2012.

In March 2011 it was announced that the horror network channel Chiller will bring viewers three new projects for 2011: Steve Niles’ “Remains”, Brian Keene’s “Ghoul” and “Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids”.

In “Remains”, the first original film from Chiller TV, Miko Hughes plays a character named Jensen.

The film will premiere on Friday December 16th, 2011 on Chiller at 10 PM ET.

STEVE NILES’ ‘REMAINS’

Based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles (30 Days of Night), and set in a chilling post-apocalyptic Reno, Nevada, Remains follows the two lone survivors of a bizarre accident that reduced most of the world’s population to zombies. The pair take refuge in a vacant casino and fight a losing battle against the undead, who grow steadily stronger, smarter and more aggressive by the minute. Remains is written by John Doolan and directed by Colin Theys; Andrew Gernhard and Zach O’Brien will serve as producers for Synthetic Cinema International.
