If any of you have been around these parts before, you might have been able to suss out the fact that I am a big fan of the radio station KCRW. I’ve been listening to the station for years, and have been a proud supporter for just as long.

To help them raise money during their pledge drive my producing partner and I have made five “behind-the-scenes” mini documentaries about some of the voices you hear beaming out from the KCRW studios to your listening device. Be it car speakers, computer speakers, smartphone, ect.

For the next “business” week, I will post one of these mini docs per day…I hope that you enjoy what you see.

For how are months spent painting something you love so much, ever looked back on with anything but love and admiration? Touché dear Spidey, touché.”

Colin Hanks (The Good Guys) is taking on his toughest role yet. He’ll be playing Colin Hanks, the new celebrity friend of Dave (Zachary Knighton) on Happy Endings. It seems that Dave’s Steak Me Home Tonight truck becomes a Chicago hotspot with designer drinks. Hanks recently filmed the role and it will air on ABC later this season.

Kevin Weisman, who played Larry in the Roswell pilot and appeared later in The Convention as well, will play a recurring character in “Awake”:

Alias co-star Kevin Weisman will have a recurring role in NBC’s new Awake series. He’ll play a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde who haunts Detective Britton (Jason Isaacs) in both of his parallel worlds. The character apparently has information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life. Awake will debut sometime in the spring.

Colin revealed later, that he is working on the ABC sitcom “Happy Endings”. He wrote “Such a Fun night shooting Happy Endings.”

While fans of the web-series “Dating Rules From My Future Self” can watch Shiri in the eighth episode today, the actress is currently on set of the TNT show “Franklin and Bash”.
