Setting: Liz's bedroom, little later Sunday, very early morning

Liz: slips into bed, she is in seventh heaven: she must record her thoughts of the most incredible night of her life; taking out her journal {he is so, so perfect. I love just watching him, the way he moves, his smell, the way he grabs a hold of me with just his eyes, the way his body trembled when I touched him, the way mine did when he touched me. I'm drowning in a sea of Max and I don't ever want to get rescued! I can't wait to for us to be together again. But maybe not at his house again, at least not while his parents are home. Oh Max, I just don't know what came over me. It was like I was drunk. Yah that must be it! I was drunk on Max.} Her eyes grow heavy and she can no longer write: she puts her journal away and as she closes her eyes, she sends her love to Max before drifting off to blissful slumber {I love you Max. Thank you for loving me back, sweet dreams.} In the back recesses of her subconscious she hears an answering {I love you too, now and forever.}

A little later that morning

Liz: groaning as the alarm clock goes off, she doesn't want to get up, she just got to bed a few hours ago: remembering why she just went to bed, puts her in a dreamy daze: she goes through her morning routine as if she is floating on air: smelling breakfast cooking makes her realize how hungry she is {guess I worked up an appetite last night.}: she sits down to breakfast… "Morning Mom. Mmmm, that smells good. Looks great. Oh, I'm working Maria's shift today since she worked mine yesterday, so I won't be able to help with Sunday dinner."

Mom: noting the dreamy look on her daughter… "Good Morning Dear, dig in, glad to see you have an appetite. Don't worry about dinner. We've been invited out. The three of us are going over to the Evans's for Dinner. Diane called this morning and invited us; and well with everything that happened last night, it seems like a good idea. Don't you think?" {Yes, definitely a good idea. I'm glad Diane called. Max is a nice boy, but we just don't know him that well. It's time that changed.}

Liz: cough, gag: trying not to spit her food out… "Uh…yah…uh sure…that's great." {Oh my God, I have to call Max!}

Liz doesn't have any luck getting a hold of Max this morning. He is a little occupied with a few things of his own.
