Disclaimer: I don't own anything!!! If I did, I wouldn’t be writing fan-fiction. I’d be dominating the world!! *Evil laughter* Ahem, back to the story. Summary: It’s graduation. What happens when Max takes a step back? Category: Max/Liz Rating: PG Author's Note: Please send feedback! =) |
(Ginny Owens', “If You Want Me To” plays softly in the background) It was graduation. Finally. Liz rose as the principle called for the valedictorian to come up. She patted Max’s hand after passing his seat. He then realized she passed him a note. He would open later. Now, now he had to listen her speech.
The pathway is broken “I’ve realized high school wasn’t just something you had to do. You do it to get into college.” Duh’s, and of course’s rang out. “But, high school is also more than that. It’s the stepping stone to one of the biggest phases in your life. You’ll be growing up and going off to college, maybe without some friends.“ She gave Maria and Michael glances. “And you can’t stay here forever in this school. Not wanting to change.” She raised her hands to demonstrate. “But you can leave with the wonderful memories. Memories of your life spent here and the friends you’ve made.” She looked to her left, a big portrait of Alex Whitman, who died last year due to a car crash. But the 5 knew better. “And you’ll still keep up with your friends,” She sniffled a little. “Even though they are miles far from you..”
'Cause I'm not who I was Max looked back up. “Now, I present you, the Roswell Class of 2002!!!!!” She stepped back and gestured her hand backwards. The class stood, moved their tassels and clapped. Yeah’s and
yippee’s were heard soon after. Liz moved her tassel too, but
then she threw it up in the air and caught it. Her action was soon
followed by many. Isabel ran up to the stage and kissed Max on
the cheek. Gave a hug to Liz, Maria and Michael, and then went
off with Jesse to follow the crowd awaiting the graduates.
So when the whole world turns against me |
