Liz Parker was sitting down writing in her journal as usual when suddenly she hears her door open. Her heart is beating so fast now she doesn't know what to do.

Liz: Sheriff Valenti, Kyle, what are you doing here?

Her pen and journal dropped to the floor.

Valenti: Your going to have to come with us Parker. We have some business to discuss.

Liz: Business? I don't understand.

Valenti: Just come with us and we'll go from there.

Liz: Wait a second. I'm not going anywhere with you. It's 10:03 and I'm about to go to bed.

Valenti: We could make this easy or we could make this hard. It's your call.

Liz: So, where are you taking me?

Kyle: To my dad's station. He just wants to ask you a couple of questions.

Liz: So why not do it here?

Valenti: I have some things to show you at the station.

Liz: Well I'm sorry but I'm not going anywhere. My parents aren't home.

Kyle: Well that'll be even easier for you to come with us now, wouldn't it?

Liz: I'm not going so I suggest you leave before I call the ------

Valenti: Who the police? Well I already took care of that whole situation.

Liz: Well what are you going to do drag me out of here?

Valenti: This is business so if that's how you want to handle it.

Liz: I told you I'm not going anywhere!

Kyle grabbed her and put her against the wall holding her arms down.

Valenti: Take it easy now Kyle. We don't want to hurt her.

Valenti came up to her and handcuffed her and gagged her.

Valenti: Sorry to have to do this, but you asked for it.

Kyle: Let's just go and get this over with dad.

Valenti: Right.

The three of them went down to the station.

SCENE # 2 AT MAX'S HOUSE

Max and Isabel are doing there homework.

Isabel: So what do you think you got on that chemistry test today?

Max: Oh, I have no idea.

(The phone rings) Ring! Ring! (Max picks up)

Max: Hello?

Maria: Hey Max it's Maria. Is Liz there?

Max: Oh hey, um, no she's not. Why? Is she alright?

Maria: I don't know. I tried to call her like five times and no one answered. I even went to her house and no one was there.

Max: Not even at the Crashdown?

Maria: No. Max I'm really worried.

Max: Alright why don't you come and meet me at my house so we can go as a group and try and look for her.

Maria: Ok. But before I go over there, I'm just going to call Alex and check if she's in his house, but I doubt it.

Max: Well give it a try and call me if she's there alright? Me and Isabel will be waiting for you guys here.

Maria: Ok bye.

Max: Bye.
