It would be another week before Claudia returns to her home in Albuquerque and is able to further study the contents of the chest found in the room adjacent to the cliff dwelling. She has been in constant contact with John who is spearheading the recovery of the first artifacts found in that area in over sixty years. He doesn't mention finding anything out of the ordinary so she assumes the chest was the only thing not of that period and perhaps not of this world stored in the room.

John's is curious as to how the opening was uncovered because there is no evidence of a rockslide or movement of the cliffs that will explain its sudden appearance.

"There's a story about this area that my grandfather use to tell all the little girls in our community that comes to mind when I think of what could have caused the opening but it's just a myth." He jokingly tells Claudia during one of thier phone conversations.

Her curiosity aroused, "Tell me the story John, I love Native American folklore."

"The petrogyphs depicting the Super Nova of 1054 located just a few feet from the cave opening is believed to have been made by a visitor from another world. This visitor was here to prepare the way for the future leader of his world who will perish in battle and is sent to earth as a human being to revamp and defeat his enemy whom have also come to earth in human form."

"The small handprint embossed on the cliff wall is, for lack of a better word, the glass slipper. Whatever girl's hand matches the embossed hand perfectly will unlock the hidden treasures needed to defeat the young leader's enemy."

"She is destined to become his mate and to form a dynasty that will save earth from annihilation at the hands of an evil that only she can see, for this enemy hides in plain slight."

He concludes with a laugh, "Every girl in my community has come to the site and tried to unlock the mystery and find her prince charming. Claudia, are you still there?"

"Yes, I'm still here, what a lovely story," she exhales in an effort to regain her composure. "I'll be there in a couple of days."

Claudia can't believe that she is taking the myth to heart. Is it possible that Liz is the Cinderella to this leader from another world and by her touching her hand to the embossed hand at the cliff created the opening leading to the metal chest?

If the pictures in the book are any indication of what's to come than Liz's life could be in danger. Still, if it's her destiny - she has no choice.

Claudia has gone over the book from cover to cover and still can't decipher the language. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory as far as an approximate age when Liz will meet her Prince - sixteen by the looks of it.

"I still have a couple of years to learn as much as I can," she muses.

She studies the picture of her granddaughter at sixteen. Liz was always a pretty child but she will be a beautiful woman. The scar above her left eye worries Claudia and she wonders if she should try to prevent it but the paradox of changing the future is a tricky concept and she decides against it.

She doesn't know what to make of the other items in the box.

There's an orb shaped object with the same emblem embossed on the book and made of the same material. The light must have come from it but it hasn't illuminated since that first day.

The strangest item in the chest is located under a panel and are about four inches in diameter and triangular in shape. Illustrations in the book show that they expand to the size of a man and are used as a weapon to engulf the enemy and folds neatly to its original shape after the dead is done. Claudia will let Liz and her Prince figure out how to use these. In the meantime she will keep all the items safe until they are ready for them.

"Honey Bear, I always knew you were special."
