In the Roswell episode "Viva Las Vegas," when Michael doles out money and new identities, Morcheeba provides the atmosphere. Morcheeba's third album, Fragments of Freedom, is a departure from the dark, smoky trip-hop they are known for. The new album contains a few flashes of their former albums, most notably on World Looking In, but in general the album is a cheerier, more accessible collection of songs. Skye Edwards' seductive, velvety voice brings the album to another level, tying together an album that ambitiously covers a number of genres.
