TV work for STAR TREK veterans
"STAR TREK veterans will be well represented in next season's television
shows. UPN has picked up 'Roswell,' which has two TREK connections -
executive producer Jonathan Frakes, and 'head writer' Ronald D. Moore,
who wrote many of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION's and STAR TREK: DEEP
SPACE NINE's finest episodes. UPN also plan to pick up TREK writer
Michael Piller's 'Dead Zone' as a midseason replacement. William
Shatner will be hosting a series of 'Iron Chef' specials for UPN which
involve competitive cookery. And, over at Fox, Nana Visitor will be
returning to her role as Madame X on 'Dark Angel,' where the writing
staff is now headed up by former TREK writer Rene Echevarria." End
