Roswell: A Fehr Act To Follow<\/strong><\/p>\n
Until Brendan Fehr, 22, walked into a Vancouver management agency looking for
\nmodeling work in 1997, the Canadian knew zilch about things like scripts and
\nauditions. Still, the Manitoba native tried out for the role of sexy brooder
\nMichael on The WB’s Roswell and snagged it. The instant, small-screen success
\nwas a shock considering, he says, that “[growing up in Canada], you wanted to
\nbe a hockey player because that’s what you saw on TV all the time.” Now,
\nCanadian kids are starting to think, “Hollywood’s not so far away,” says Fehr
\nin an interview with Teen People.<\/p>\nRoswell focuses on a group of aliens living in New Mexico. The series blends
\nthe sci-fi elements of UFOs and aliens with a traditional coming-of-age
\ndrama. Besides Fehr, the show also stars Shiri Appleby, Jason Behr, Katherine
\nHeigl, Majandra Delfino, Colin Hanks, Nick Wechsler and William Sadler.<\/p>\nEarlier this year, in a campaign waged by loyal fans to save Roswell from a
\ndoomed fate, The WB was bombarded with bottles of Tabasco sauce – the aliens’
\nbeverage of choice – as a way of saying the series is hot. Although the show
\nfaired poorly in Nielsen ratings last season, Roswell will return to The WB
