SWEET DEAL FOR ROSWELL STAR FEHR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roswell star Brendan Fehr flies in to town this weekend to appear live Friday night at 8 p.m. on CBC’s At The End, hosted by the irrepressible Steve Burgess.<\/p>\n

While here, he’ll also be doing some taste-testing of the baked goods sent in by fans (“Fehrians”) from a contest posted on his Internet chat board. Brendan’s local manager, Jim Sheasgreen of Look Management, has been nibbling happily in his client’s absence.<\/p>\n

Prizes offered were limited-edition Roswell postcards and a 10-minute phone call from Brendan.<\/p>\n

So far, the faves have been the chocolate-chip macadamia nut, oatmeal white and dark chocolate chip cookies with dried cherries, as well as an apple pecan square and a batch of sugar cookies iced with photo decals of Brendan.<\/p>\n

A few delectables spoiled in the mail. Even Jim’s dog Elmo wouldn’t touch some treats made with sour cream, which apparently doesn’t travel well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And… the winner is….<\/p>\n
