For the week, The WB made 33% and 21% increases in adults 18-34 & 18-49 compared to the same week last year, by far better than every other network, many of which are down year to year in both demos.
In what is becoming a trend, The WB again has great performances for their Monday thru Friday line-up with exceptional year to year gains highlighted by Wednesday nights continued strength.

On Wednesday night, The WB ranked #1 for the night in women 12-34 and a very strong #2 on the night in women 18-34. The WB finished Wednesday as the #3 network in adults 18-34 as well. DAWSON’S CREEK was once again #1 in the time slot in women 18-34, a tremendous accomplishment considering the distribution disparity between The WB and the big four nets. For the night The WB was up an amazing 40% in adults 18-34 year to year with FELICITY, enjoying its best season ever, coming in with a 48% increase year to year in women 18-34 in the timeslot. FELICITY almost doubled the women 18-34 delivery of Fox’s “The Street” with a 3.7 rating vs. a 1.9 for “The Street” for the hour. FELICITY also beat The Street in adults 18-34 by a 50% margin (2.4 vs. 1.6).

Thursday nights Thanksgiving double run of CHARMED scored 8% and 9% increases in adults 18-34 & 18-49 respectively for The WB.

Friday nights, led by the SABRINA double run & POPULAR continues to score with its core viewers, up 33% & 57% year to year in women 18-34 and women 12-34 respectively.

On Sunday night, The WB scored TITANIC year to year gains across the board led by 114% & 71% year to year increases in adults 18-34 & 18-49 respectively with every half hour scoring huge year to year gains. And even though it was still a holiday weekend, all six comedies scored significantly higher ratings this week than last in all key demographics.

Last Monday night (November 20) The WB scored phenomenal 67% and 47% increases year to year in adults 18-34 & 18-49 respectively. Monday was once again led by powerhouse 7TH HEAVEN, which ranked #1 amongst all nets in 12-34 females, teens and female teens. ROSWELL ranked #1 in the timeslot in teens and female teens and showed 100% year to year timeslot growth in adults 18-34.

Tuesday night behind BUFFY & ANGEL continues to do solid business for The WB.

THE WB SHOWS 33% & 21% YEAR TO YEAR GAINS IN ADULTS 18-34 & 18-49 FOR THE WEEK BY FAR

[5
136,84

post-1292","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-roswell","tag-rating","tag-wb
["GET
