It\u2019s time to let The Powers That Be know how much you love Roswell – again!
\nNow, we\u2019re not saying this because we have any type of insider information
\nabout the chances for renewal \u00ad in fact, we do not. However, what we do know
\nis that now is the time when the networks are looking at their schedules for
\nnext Fall and considering what to carry over and what to drop. Taking that
\ninto consideration \u00ad let\u2019s make sure they know what we think!<\/p>\n
So, here\u2019s the plan \u00ad<\/p>\n
Write a heartfelt letter to The WB executives about your love for the No Gimmicks!<\/strong> No gloom and doom!<\/strong> Here are our targets for this campaign (it can be the same letter to each Gerald M. \nThis should be an honest, thoughtful letter from the heart about all the
\nthings that Roswell means to you \u00ad what do you love about it and why, what
\ndoes it do for you, what has it meant to you to be a fan? All of these
\nthings are important. This is not the time to tell them how hot you think
\nJason or Brendan are \u00ad nor is it the time to tell them which couples you
\nthink should be together. This is the time to tell them about your love for
\nthe show overall. Make sense?<\/p>\n
\nWe do want to stress \u00ad this is not to be combined with the sending of any
\ntype of product. The Tabasco campaign was wonderful, but we\u2019ve been there
\nand done that. Let\u2019s not be redundant. All the other campaigns that have
\ntaken place this year have been creative and fun, but let\u2019s stick to the
\nhonest, heartfelt emotions here. Make it simple \u00ad just put your feelings
\nabout the show in writing.<\/p>\n
\nThe other major point we want to stress is to PLEASE stay away from the
\nnegative outcries for \u201csaving the show\u201d \u00ad this is also not the time to say
\n\u201cPlease don\u2019t cancel the show!\u201d There hasn\u2019t been any concrete talk about
\nthat \u00ad let\u2019s not put that idea into their heads. Keep it positive! That is
\nextremely important!<\/p>\n
