Nick singing “Ball and Chain” by They Might Be Giants: “I lost my lucky ball and chain, now she’s four years gone\u2026..just five feet tall and sick of me..And all my lalala\u2026.” (Thanks to MichaelsAngel who recognised the song!)<\/p>\n
Bill opens his eyes wide and shows the camera a weird \u2018what the hell is he singing\u2019 face.<\/p>\n
Nick: I *don\u2019t know* that one.<\/p>\n
Bill: I\u2019m sure it\u2019s a *very* nice song! Is that like Ike and Tina Turner??<\/p>\n
Bill starts to sing and grooves in his chair: “I need love love love to ease my mind, I need time time ..someone to call my..
\nMy Mama said.. you can\u2019t hurry love.. no\u2026..you just have to wait\u2026.”<\/p>\nNick tries to continue humming the tune\u2026and both giggle..<\/p>\n
Then Bill puts on a sudden mock serious face.<\/p>\n
Bill: “Boy do we have a lotta time on our hands\u2026 (interview laughs) *whistles*\u2026.. when\u2019s lunch?”<\/p>\n
Cut to a scene of Bill with his arms on top of his head, flexing his left and right biceps \u2026and then grinning at the camera<\/p>\n
Bill: Some secret about Nick??<\/p>\n
Interviewer: Yeah some secret that he doesn\u2019t want anybody to know.<\/p>\n
(Nick bends over to whisper in Bill\u2019s ear)<\/p>\n
Nick: That\u2019ll be great. Some secret that he doesn\u2019t want anybody to know<\/p>\n
(Nick bends over to whisper to Bill again)<\/p>\n
Bill: c\u2019mon tell me\u2026 I won\u2019t tell anybody. Honest!<\/p>\n
(Nick whisper to Bill\u2019s yet again)<\/p>\n
Bill: Ok. No, I won\u2019t tell. I won\u2019t tell. (whispers conspiratorially to camera) He has 6 toes\u2026. *winks at camera*<\/p>\n
Nick: WHAT?! Stop!! I told you!!<\/p>\n
Bill sings again: “I need love love love to ease my mind\u2026”<\/p>\n
Nick: Like that\u2019s not really an embarassing secret\u2026<\/p>\n
Bill: No.<\/p>\n
Nick pretends to whisper to Bill: I\u2019m the greatest guy in the world but don\u2019t tell anyone\u2026<\/p>\n
Bill: Okay\u2026hahaha .. (Nick laughs too) is it ok with you if I *don\u2019t* ??<\/p>\n
Bill tinkles “You Like Me Too Much” by the Beatles on the piano (thanks to ILVtheFAB4 for this information) while Jason and Katie look on.<\/p>\n
Bill starts to sing: Though you’re gone away this morning \u2026 you’ll be back again tonight \u2026 telling me there’ll be no next time \u2026.if I just don’t treat you right ..<\/p>\n
Katie moves away, back to the camera. And Jason stretches out his arms above his head and grins\u2026 showing a bit of his belly\u2026<\/p>\n
Interviewer: Say goodbye, Bill<\/p>\n
