I play Max<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Behr: He found out that he was the kind of this planet<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: sometime in the second season which started the alien<br \/>\nmythology.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Dan: Give us an idea of the hybrid chronciles<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Behr: I am not actually sure how that is going to go … the<br \/>\nrelationship<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: between the two of them have been through so much ..<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I’m not sure what they are going to do<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Behr: I’ve been acting quite a bit since I was a kid<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: a way for me to channel my youthful exhuberance I guess.<br \/>\nQuestion: If you were’nt acting what would you see yourself doing?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I had a lot of energy when I was a kid.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Probably, I really have no idea, that is the only thing I can<br \/>\ndo.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: For a balance between the two of them. When we have a story<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that involves both the darky, edgy science fiction elements<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: and the relationships, those are the most interesting<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: stories. When you hgave too much of either one of them you<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: can turn off certain viewers. It’s nice to have a balance<br \/>\nbetween the two of them.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I think high school is such an important part of a lot of<br \/>\npeople’s<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: lives either good or bad. I think high school has a very<br \/>\nlasting impressions<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: whetehr they like it or don’t like it. It also helps when you<br \/>\nare walking<br \/>\nQuestion: Do you enjoy fame or would you prefer an ordinary life?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: through lockers, have a backpack, the environment sort of<br \/>\nworks<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: on the stage, and sort of remember those times.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: To be hones, I am working so much, I’m really not<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: outside just hanging out and on the streets, I really working<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: all the hours on the show. If anyone ever comes up and<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: says anything, it’s usually very complimentary, and that<br \/>\nQuestion: What has been your favorite episode this season and last ?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: kind of stuff usually puts a smile on your face.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It’s a toss up from either the pilot has been my favorite<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the first episode was very powerful .. all the actors gave<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: real strong performances .. I thought there was a nice<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: balance of the comedy between Michael and his<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: battle and the drama of Max’s situation, and the strange that<br \/>\nhe let die.<br \/>\nQuestion: Do you relate to you character in any way?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I think that was one of the more powerful episodes.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Sometimes, there is always a little bit of yourself<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: in the characters that you play .. you forget about<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: who you are when youre playing these characters. I thin<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Max is a little more indecisive, and understably so, he has<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is a little<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: shy, a little hesitant, and a little indecisive.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Absolute,y whenever you are doing a season of a series,<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: you are playing the same character over and over again,<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: it’s always refreshing to do something different. The New York<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: version of Max, I was only on there for the very first minute<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of the show. I think all the actors were going for a very<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: different take on their New York counterparts. I think the<br \/>\ngeneral<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: idea was to take these characters and kind of play<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: what if, what if they grew up without parental<br \/>\nsupervision,sort<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of free reign with their abilities. Quite different<br \/>\ncharacters, quite different animals.<br \/>\nQuestion: Do you know if thre is a sure third season to Roswell?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We don’t know yet. Nobody has told us if we are<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: or not coming back. It’s always an issue when we come near<br \/>\nthe end<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of the season. I don’t know of any of these shows that<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: have beemn picked up for the next season.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Well, the fans were very helpful last year, allowing people<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: to really see it. The show is being watched, and that<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that it should stick around, but I’m not sure.<br \/>\nQuestion: Jason, Have you learned anything about yourself while playing max?<br \/>\nQuestion: If so what did you learn?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I learned that I need a lot more sleep than I get.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I’ve learned tha tI guess Max has a certain humanity<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that is both frustrating and refreshing, because I think he<br \/>\nsees<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the world through different eyes than I do.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I guess I’ve learned to be a little more open-minded about<br \/>\nthings.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Always have a better question about who he is and what he<br \/>\nisn’t.<br \/>\nQuestion: Who do you admire the most in the world, living or dead?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: First and foremost, my mother.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: A lot of beliefs in me and values that I use every day<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: she’s been my hero as long as I can remember.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Other than that, career-wise, I admire Paul Newman, probably<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: who stands out most.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: NO particular film, every film that he does, he<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: is amazing in. I can’t think of one film that he has<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: done that I said I didn’t like his perofrmance.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: If I look at someone;’s career that mirror’s that, it would<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: be Paul Newman. He is a true representative of class, he<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: makes a helluva slad dressing. More money is made<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: on Newman’s brand name than his films, and all trhe money<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: his company makes goes to charity. To me, that is doing<br \/>\nQuestion: Hey Jason,<br \/>\nQuestion: I want to be an actor on T.V just like you! What advice can you<br \/>\ngive<br \/>\nQuestion: me to persue my dream in television?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: something with who you are.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: The best advice that I could probably give anybody to believe<br \/>\nin<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: themselves. Don’t let anyone tell you<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that things are not possible, because they are possible.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I kind of just happened. I was in North Carolina when I read<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the script for Roswell,. The character was so different than<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the one I was playing on that show.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I think anybody around my age was into science fiction<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: in my age .. Star Wars, ET, Battlestar Galatica, it was kind<br \/>\nof<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: normalo to be a science fiction buff to that degree.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It fascinated me .. the Internet fascinates me. It allows<br \/>\npeople<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: to exhange information so freely that innovating and scary<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: at the same time, because sometimes I wonder how much<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of this information is true, you have to consider the source.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: So weird, I can talk with somebody in Japan for Crissakes.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: The techolongy is great, but I am not quite comfortable with<br \/>\nit<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: and I don’t surf the net as often as I should.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Absolutely, it’s very flattering, they don;t need to do this<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: they don’t need to spend the time doing this …<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: it’s very flattering. It’s kind of surreal. I never expected<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that kind of stuff when I got into this.<br \/>\nQuestion: Are you good friends with the cast? Who’s your favorite?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It’s very flattering<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It’s funny, the very first few months before we started<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: working on the show, we hung out a lot.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We decided to get to know each other before we started working<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: those long hours. We found ourselves spending so much time on<br \/>\nthe set<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that when we would leave the set, we would go live our own<br \/>\nlives.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We’ve been getting a lot better as we’ve sort of got used<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: to the scheduel. We are hanging out a lot more<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: now than we have in a long time.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Not really .. we’re pretty good to each other<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: There’s no real super huge pranks or anything like that.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Every now and then, that might have happened.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We have a thing that we could out and jama juice a lot<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: some of the cast embers just get more fiber.<br \/>\nQuestion: Do you have another passion, aside from acting?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I like to spend a lot of time with my family.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It’s the most important thing to me. But, I spend a lot of<br \/>\ntime<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: outdoors with my family and my dog, spend a lot of<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: time with my dog. I like to play basketball a lot.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I’m really a student of film, I really enjoy the film process.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I watch as many movies as I can when I have free time.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It depends on the beginning of the season, you pretty much<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: know what is going on the first half of the year.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Things keep popping up, you have no idea.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I could ont tell you what is happening in the next episode,<br \/>\nother than<br \/>\nQuestion: jason i love u! my name is adriana and my question is what do u<br \/>\nQuestion: think is hardest scene youve done on roswell?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the one we are shooting right now, I don’t know what is<br \/>\nhappening.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: There are two kinds of real difficult scenes.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: They are the ones that are physically draining, like there is<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: this one scene where I had to run through the streets of<br \/>\nRoswell.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We probably started shooting around 1 o’clock and didn’t stop<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: shooting until 6 in the morning. All I did was run, no<br \/>\ndialogue<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: just running. That was very physically draining. There<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: are also ones that are emotionally draining, like when Max<br \/>\nheals<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the children in the hospital. Me, just being there and the<br \/>\nwhole<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: idea of trying to give thes kids the gift back, it<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: was very emotionally draining to me.<br \/>\nQuestion: What’s the hardest part of max’s personality for you to portray?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Probably, his decision making. A lot of times what frustrates<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: mes about the cahracter, a lot of times he is so cautiois and<br \/>\nso thoughtfukl<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of things, he doesn;t know which way to go.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: He sometimes can be so cautious, almost paralyzing. He doesn’t<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: do anything. He nedss to be more practive and make decision<br \/>\nQuestion: any movies on the horizon?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: reight along. At least he could say that he made a judgement.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Right now most of my focus is on the show, I would<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: love to do films. I enjoy watching films as I said before, I<br \/>\nenjoy<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the whole prcoess of it. When I get the opportunity to move<br \/>\ninto<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that venue, I will. Right now, the scripts I’ve been reading,<br \/>\nthe stories<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that are being told, are not the most unique stories out<br \/>\nthere.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I’m just waiting for the right one.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: There are some things that are going to happen in the next<br \/>\nfew episodes<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: that really do change the lives of all these kids.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Some things that are going to come up that aren’t really<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: expected, or expected in a way that none of them<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: are really ready for.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: probably when Max sang. I couldn’t believe they did that to<br \/>\nhim<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: There is this episode called End of the World, this future<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: version of Max comes back to present-day Roswell<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: to break up Liz and Max, the younger Max tries to sing to<br \/>\nher, and I<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: was really surprised by that. I knew Max couldn’t sing, so<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I don’t know why he was.<br \/>\nQuestion: Have you heard anything about viewers wanting Roswell to bring<br \/>\nthe<br \/>\nQuestion: core characters and relationships back as the focus of the show?<br \/>\nQuestion: Are their plans to guide Roswell back into that direction?<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: These hyberchronicles are pretty science fiction-based, we<br \/>\nare going<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: to slow it down a bit and find out how it effected the<br \/>\ncharacters.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Swing it back the other way<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: It’s interesting because when we were first doing the pilot<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: we heard some temp music of what the theme was going to be<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: We didn’t want that thing like Dawason’s Creek, like a one-hit<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: wonder. We really didn’t want that, the first time we heard<br \/>\nDido, it<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: felt so appropriate, and so perfect to the show. I haven’t<br \/>\ngot sick of<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: it yet, and I think she is very talented, and I ma very happy<br \/>\nwith her<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: success. I think her teaming up with Eminem helped her<br \/>\nincredibly.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: She is a very talented artist to have her lead the show it<br \/>\ngreat.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: She had come to Los Angeles during the first season and gave<br \/>\na concert, a few<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: of the castmemebers were able to go, but I was working and I<br \/>\ncouldn’t be there.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I was kind of pissed because I wanted to be there.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Not so much advice on how to deal with fans, but how to deal<br \/>\nwith<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the pressure I guess. Frakes is a great guy, and directed a<br \/>\nfew<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: episodes last year. He is a lot of fun to work in, he has a<br \/>\ngreat<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: personality that is good for the cast and the crew.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: He is a lot of fun to be around.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Sure, that’s one of the nice things about it, you can always<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: give suggestions to Jason for what you believe could be<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: a good character arc, or what you think your character<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: should be doing at this time. It’s up to him at the time<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: at what his character wants to do, but he is very polite<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: Absolutely. I think from the very first show, his world was<br \/>\nturned upside down<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: he was exposing himself to Liz and the cafe changed his life<br \/>\nforever.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: As the days go one, his resposinsibility of keeping this all<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: a secret and not being discovere.d I think the discovery of<br \/>\nbeing<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: the supposed king of this so-called planet is a huge<br \/>\nrespomsibility.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: He never asked for this repomsibnility and doesn’t know how<br \/>\nto feel that<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: respomsinility.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: I think he has a lot of pressure on him. he is going through<br \/>\na lot of<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: stuff and has a lot of pressure.<br \/>\nJasonBehrLive: They break stories and decide which direction of the show.<br \/>\nOnlineHost: Thank you for joining us!
