The article said that Fehr hinted that Roswell had been canceled.

Thanks to Megan for this.

From Gist:

The Danger Zone

It’s that fateful time of the year again, when the networks decide which of their current series they’ll renew and which they’ll relegate to that crowded low-Nielsens graveyard in the sky.

Certain shows — such as the top-rated ER, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, CSI and Will & Grace — will obviously be back in the fall. Other programs — such as The Lone Gunmen, Nash Bridges and Jack & Jill — aren’t such shoo-ins. In fact, as many as 18 shows are, as they say in the TV biz, “on the bubble.”

Whether a show returns depends on many factors, including its production costs, its ratings and its demographics. (Of course, if the looming strikes by writers and actors come to fruition and aren’t settled quickly, it soon won’t matter which nonreality series got renewed.)

Loyal viewers have gone to great lengths to keep their favorite programs on the air, even going beyond the traditional letter-writing and e-mailing campaigns. Last spring, for example, ardent Roswell fans who wanted the teen-alien show back for its sophomore season sent thousands of bottles of Tabasco sauce (the extraterrestrials’ favorite condiment) to WB executives. The devotees’ efforts obviously worked — or a least weighed heavily in the decision — because Roswell did indeed return for a second year.

As for me, I’ll be greatly disappointed if Angel, That ’70s Show and Boston Public don’t all get picked up.

Which cancellations will bum you out? — Jenny Higgons

Note: Please keep your comments clean, stick to the topic, and be respectful of others’ opinions.
