{"id":1850,"date":"2001-05-02T11:38:32","date_gmt":"2001-05-02T09:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crashdown.com\/news\/?p=1850"},"modified":"2008-08-03T11:39:41","modified_gmt":"2008-08-03T09:39:41","slug":"cinescape-roswell-finale-and-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crashdown.com\/news\/2001\/05\/cinescape-roswell-finale-and-return\/","title":{"rendered":"Cinescape: Roswell Finale and Return?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to Yoss for this :)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<strong>&#8216;Roswell&#8217; Finale &#038; Return?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brendan Fehr is talking about the coming Roswell season finale as well as what he knows regarding the program&#8217;s chances of being picked up for a third season.<\/p>\n<p>While talking to Ian Spelling in an interview for Xpos\u00e9 Special, Fehr isn&#8217;t giving any specific details on the season finale, but he does say, &#8220;It leaves a bunch of things wide open, actually.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He adds, &#8220;But that doesn\u2019t guarantee that we have a third season. That\u2019s not up to us at all. I think the writers have&#8230; assumed that there will be a third season, but just wrote it with the attitude, &#8216;If we don\u2019t, we don\u2019t; too bad.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fehr also talks of the situation at the WB lately with a departing popular series, saying, &#8220;I think I\u2019d be ignorant to say whether or not we\u2019ll be back. There are arguments for both, for coming back and for not coming back. Right now, with all the political stuff that\u2019s happening with Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Fox and The WB and contracts, we\u2019re a pawn in the whole thing. We\u2019re not the big man on campus in terms of being a [make-or-break WB] show.
