{"id":1901,"date":"2001-05-12T12:42:11","date_gmt":"2001-05-12T10:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crashdown.com\/news\/?p=1901"},"modified":"2008-08-03T12:42:38","modified_gmt":"2008-08-03T10:42:38","slug":"hollywood-reporter-wb-announces-fall-schedule-ot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crashdown.com\/news\/2001\/05\/hollywood-reporter-wb-announces-fall-schedule-ot\/","title":{"rendered":"Hollywood Reporter: WB Announces Fall Schedule-OT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since a lot of people seem to be sending this in to me from the Hollywood Reporter website, I thought I&#8217;d post the entire article so that everyone knows that the article is not referring to &#8220;returning&#8221; shows on their schedule..<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The WB announces fall TV lineup<\/p>\n<p>May 11, 2001<\/p>\n<p>By Cynthia Littleton<\/p>\n<p>The WB Network has placed most of its bets for the upcoming season, giving official pickup orders to six comedies and two dramas.<\/p>\n<p>The comedy pickups are the Reba McEntire starrer &#8220;Deep in the Heart,&#8221; from 20th Century Fox TV; Paramount&#8217;s male buddy comedy &#8220;Men, Women and Dogs&#8221;; &#8220;Raising Dad,&#8221; starring Bob Saget; Warner Bros.\/DreamWorks &#8220;Off Centre,&#8221; from the &#8220;American Pie&#8221; team of Paul Weitz and Chris Weitz; and Warner Bros.\/Touchstone&#8217;s &#8220;Maybe I&#8217;m Adopted.&#8221; The Warner Bros. comedy &#8220;The Young Person&#8217;s Guide to Becoming a Rock Star&#8221; also was given a midseason order.<\/p>\n<p>Dramas ordered for the fall schedule were the young Superman vehicle &#8220;Smallville,&#8221; from Warner Bros. and Tollin-Robbins Prods. and Miramax TV&#8217;s &#8220;Glory Days,&#8221; from &#8220;Dawson&#8217;s Creek&#8221; creator Kevin Williamson.
