Does \u201cSpecial Unit 2\u201d cross over with \u201cSmackdown!\u201d?? No!!<\/p>\n

Does \u201cBuffy\u201d cross over with \u201cThe Hughleys\u201d?? Absolutely not!!<\/p>\n

Does \u201cEnterprise\u201d cross over with \u2026 \u201cRoswell\u201d??<\/p>\n

It does!<\/p>\n

In \u201cRoswell\u2019s\u201d fourth UPN episode, authored by Russel Friend & Garrett Lerner and titled \u201cSecrets and Lies,\u201d teen alien Max Evans will find himself in Hollywood, investigating the death of a guy we\u2019ll see shooting at Michael in the Oct. 9 UPN premiere.<\/p>\n

This suspicious demise will lead Max to probe the Paramount Pictures archives (!) in search of proof connecting the present-day murder to one from the past at the hands of the same alien. This proof, insists Max’s true love Liz, can be found in the dailies of a Paramount science fiction feature titled \u201cThey Are Among Us.\u201d<\/p>\n

How does Max get on the Paramount lot? A talent agent he meets at the dead man\u2019s funeral puts Max up for an \u201cEnterprise\u201d audition. Who is Max auditioning with? \u201cEnterprise\u201d star Scott Bakula. Who is directing the \u201cEnterprise\u201d episode? \u201cStar Trek\u201d vet and \u201cRoswell\u201d executive producer Jonathan Frakes. (Behind the scenes, Frakes is also directing this episode of \u201cRoswell.\u201d)<\/p>\n

For which \u201cEnterprise\u201d role is Max auditioning? An alien. Specifically \u201cKorgan of the Bantoo,\u201d who suspects Capt. Archer has invaded his sector of space to steal dilithium crystals. The audition doesn\u2019t go particularly well: Frakes tells Max he\u2019s not very convincing playing an extraterrestrial.
