\nZap2it.com, TV News<\/p>\nLOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) – Emerging from Zap2it.com’s Battle of the Network Stars Elite Eight, the top highest vote getters, “The X-Files” Gillian Anderson (4699) and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s” Sarah Michelle Gellar (2638) will face off in the Final Four.<\/p>\n
With over 21,000 overall votes, the closest race thus far turned out to be between Gellar and “Roswell’s” Jason Behr, with the Slayer herself winning by a mere three votes (2638 to 2635).<\/p>\n
The other three-named Sarah, Sarah Jessica Parker, didn’t fare so well in her battle against “Dark Angel’s” Jessica Alba. Alba progresses to the next level 235 votes ahead, with 2377 votes to the shopaholic’s 2142.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Anderson turned “Angel’s” David Boreanaz to dust with 4699 votes to his 2581, a difference of 2118.<\/p>\n
Lastly, the “Friends” fans have spoken, and while they’ll be there for Matthew Perry (2593), they’re of the mind to leave Jennifer Aniston (2140) hanging.<\/p>\n
Perry won the match by 453 votes, but how will his self-depreciating sarcasm hold up against Alba’s mutated determination? And will Gellar be able to chip away at Anderson’s monumental lead?<\/p>\n
It’s entirely in the hands of the voters.<\/p>\n
