Congratulations to Jason Behr and KaDee Strickland. The couple welcomed their first child, son Atticus, on Thursday, October 17, her rep confirms to PEOPLE<\/a> exclusively.<\/p>\n

The couple welcomed their baby boy into the world during an \u201cintimate birth in their Los Angeles home with the assistance and care of midwives and a doula.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rep tells PEOPLE, \u201cThe family is overjoyed, happy and in great health.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

KaDee announced the birth of her son on Twitter. She tweeted<\/a> to Stephen Colbert on October 22, jocking “we were thinking of naming our newborn son Stephen Cole Behr. Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?”<\/em> The new mom added <\/a>“I suppose the TRUTH is… There can be only one….”<\/em>.<\/p>\n
