\n1. 25,167 signatures (at time of printing)
\n2. 553 printed pages (small font, Ariel 8pt)
\n3. Signatures from approx. 85 countries!
\n4. The original, one-sided pages, was 3″ (7.5 cm) thick and had to be bound in 2 volumes. According to FedEx it weighed 6.7 pounds.
\n5. The copies, double-sided pages, were 1.75″ (4.5 cm) thick. According to FedEx they weighed 3.35 pounds each.<\/p>\nHere’s the main text of the cover letters:<\/p>\n
We, the undersigned, would like to present you with this petition to continue the Roswell Television series for a fourth season.<\/p>\n
Many of the people who signed this petition did so when it appeared that UPN might renew Roswell for a fourth season. Despite UPN’s decision not to do so, we feel that this petition shows the global interest and dedication of Roswell\u2019s worldwide fan base.<\/p>\n
The following 25,167 signatures and comments from approximately 85 countries were collected through an online petition that can be viewed at http:\/\/www.petitiononline.com\/roswell4\/petition.html .
\nThe petition continues to be signed.<\/p>\nSince only people with online access are able to sign the petition, it represents a small portion of how many people would follow Roswell for a fourth season on Sci-Fi when it airs.<\/p>\n
We fervently hope to soon see the announcement that there will indeed be a fourth season of Roswell on Sci-Fi.<\/p>\n
