Well this is just great news, this movie has been a winner at almost every
\nsingle festival it has been shown at. This is just the latest awards it’s

\nHorror fans unite to laud M.A.Galluzzo & R.S.V.P. at Screamfest 2002
\nsnatching awards for Best Actor and Best Cinematography.<\/p>\nVenice Beach, California 21 October 2002<\/p>\n
After picking up rave reviews from the Hollywood press and Best of
\nFest Award at the Malibu Film Festival in August, making an encore
\nappearance at the Palisades Film Festival, and jaunting down to the Heart of
\nTexas for the Austin Film Festival and Writers Conference, RSVP wrapped up
\nOctober with a two time victory at Horror Film Festival Screamfest last
\nnight.<\/p>\nBest Cinematography was accepted by Mark Anthony Galluzzo on behalf of
\nfellow cameramen Thom Stukas and Christian Grosselfinger. Whilst Best Actor
\nwent to RSVP thesp Rick Otto whos performance as the psychopathic Nick
\nCollier was obviously frightening good .<\/p>\nFellow attendees of the genre fest included Horror Legends Wes Craven and
\nWilliam Friedkin. The closing ceremony was covered by Sci-Fi Roadshow.

\nhe West-Coast premiere of R.S.V.P. last month received much anticipation
\nwith an advance review by LA Times film critic, Kevin Thomas, in which he
\ndeclared the Hitchcockian Black Comedy to be: Diabolically Clever!
\nand A matter of increasing suspense!<\/p>\nVariety\u00b9s Scott Foundas later raved about the outrageous spoof as An
\nexperiment in unpleasantness! ; The most despicable cast of characters to
\ndescend on Las Vegas since Peter Bergs Very Bad Things!<\/p>\nThe Boston Phoenixs Bill Rodriguez, who caught the film prior to its East
\nCoast Premiere at the Rhode Island Intl Film Fest the prior week agreed with
\nFoundas, lauding R.S.V.P. as a Splendid Send-Up! and went on to
\nexclaim Homage and Spoof do a Dance of Death! Straight out of Hitchcock.
\nGalluzzo does rightS dinging and tooting all the right filmic bells and
\nwhistles!<\/p>\nIn addition to the victory, fans were treated to a personal appearance by
\nGalluzzo along with cast members Daniel Joseph and, believe it or not, a
\nshocking public appearance by Kevin Smiths cult icon sidekick Jay Mewes (of
\nJay & Silent Bob fame) at the film\u00b9s opening night. Rumors of whos
\ndeath by the Chicago Sun Times were quickly put to rest afterwards.<\/p>\nAn old-fashioned yet irreverent comedy romp, R.S.V.P. cleverly mixes
\nthe spirit of Frank Capras Arsenic and Old Lace with Alfred Hitchcocks Rope.
\nSet in the heart of sin city itself, Las Vegas, Nevada, R.S.V.P.
\nfollows a group of twenty-somethings on their last and we do mean last –
\nnight of collegiate bliss. Co-Stars include, Majandra Delfino (Roswell,
\nTraffic), Reno Wilson (The Chronicle), Grace Zabriskie (Wild
\nat Heart, Trash), Jonathan Banks (Wiseguy, Trash), Glenn Quinn
\n(Angel), and breakout performances by New Yorker Daniel Joseph and
\nnewcomer Nora Zehetner (Septuplets).<\/p>\nMark Anthonys other credits include his critically acclaimed feature debut
