Various sources report in reference of CHUD.com, that Colin Hanks has been offered the role of Rennie Davis in Steven Spielberg’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7”. <\/p>\n
The movie is about the anti-Vietnam war protests that wrecked the 1968 Democratic national convention.<\/p>\n
The character Davis is an SDS activist who was interested in political change rather than wholesale social change. Other potential stars on board: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Will Smith, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Daniels.<\/p>\n
