Their lives inspire us and deepen our connection to one another.<\/p>\n<p>After the news broke that musician George Michael has died at the age of 53\u00a0Colin Hanks wrote on Twitter, <em>&#8220;2016 is officially the lamest year on record. And I&#8217;m never gonna dance again&#8221;<\/em>, quoting a popular song of the musican. Roswell and B+T fan Trisha fittingly <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/trishofcal1\/status\/813268078599340032\" target=\"_blank\">added<\/a> <em>&#8220;cuz you got no rhythm&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Colin&#8217;s tweet made it into The Wrap&#8217;s list of best celebrity hate tweets. Carrie Fisher, who is best known for portraying Princess Leia in the &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; saga passed away on December 27th, 2016. <em>&#8220;Carrie Fisher was so many things to so many people. Couldn&#8217;t simply label her one thing. She could do anything &amp; will be missed by everyone.&#8221;<\/em>, Colin <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ColinHanks\/status\/813823537458847744\" target=\"_blank\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Being a big fan of &#8220;Star Wars&#8221;, he introduced his daughter to the saga just last year. As a proud dad he shared this story:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So, the other night, on May the 4th to be exact, I sat down with my 4 year old daughter and showed her Star Wars: A New Hope. It was her first time watching it. She loved it. Her favorite character was Princess Leia. She kept asking &#8220;Where is Princess Leia? Where is Princes Leia?&#8221; A few nights later, I show her Empire Strikes Back (or as she called it &#8220;The Emperor stripes back) and within four minutes of watching the movie she says, &#8220;It&#8217;s so tiring watching these movies. It&#8217;s always boys, boys, boys and there&#8217;s only one girl.&#8221; I could not of been more proud of her. So today I take her to Toys &#8220;R&#8221; Us to buy her a light saber and a Princess Leia toy. After being told that the light sabers were &#8220;in the boys section&#8221;, she picks out the light saber of her choosing and asks about the Princess Leia toy. One problem: they only had the &#8220;slave Leia&#8221;. As you can see, sad depressing, &#8220;slave Leia&#8221;. So wrong.
