He is handing the reins to fellow executive producers Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts, with producing support from Akiva Goldsman.<\/p>\n<p>Bryan Fuller wrote on his Twitter page: <em>&#8220;Riker spent 7 years of TNG unready for Captaincy, @GretchenJBerg @AaronHarberts are ready. Thrilled to see them in command of the Bridge.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Bryan, you&#8217;re my brother, mentor &amp; friend. We will continue what we started &amp; make you proud. I love your gorgeous heart &amp; soul. Thx. xxoo&#8221;<\/em>, wrote Gretchen J. Berg in a reply to Bryan Fuller. Aaron Harberts added, <em>&#8220;You are as generous as you are talented. We will do our best to make you proud. I love you.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts were executive producers and writers on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;Revenge&#8221; or The CW&#8217;s &#8220;Reign&#8221; most recently.
