THR<\/a> reports that Apple has ordered a space drama from \u201cOutlander\u201d showrunner Ronald D. Moore. The straight-to-series drama will be created, written and executive produced by Moore alongside Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi \u2014 both alums of \u201cFargo\u201d and \u201cThe People v. O.J. Simpson\u201d.<\/p>\n

With Apple going into original programming, the show from the former co-executive producer and author on Roswell’s second and third season is in good company. Apple’s first scripted TV show will star Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. They also gave the green light to an anthology series from Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Hannibal).<\/p>\n

In other news, it was announced that Jason Katims’ producing partner Michelle Lee will serve as senior creative executive for Apple. She is going to join the creative team starting next year, January 1st, 2018.
