\u201cI\u2019m on an airplane. Anybody have questions?\u201d<\/em>, asked Carina Adly MacKenzie on March 31st when she headed back home from filming the \u201cUntitled Roswell Project\u201d pilot for The CW.<\/p>\n

The pilot was shot in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Over the past weeks the cast and crew shared beautful photos and clips of the landscape, but they also had to brave the elements like extreme wind, rain and snow. Naira wanted to know from the writer and excecutive producer, if they will be shooting in New Mexico for the whole season. If the re-imagining, which is based on the \u201cRoswell High\u201d books, will be ordered to series, they still have to make this decision. Carina Adly MacKenzie said<\/a> \u201cWe haven\u2019t decided! Have to weigh some options.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cRoswell NM\u201d is the working title of the project. If the sci-fi show will make it on our TV screens will be decided as early as next month. \u201cWe\u2019ll know mid-May.\u201d<\/em>, MacKenzie replied to a fan. She also said<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m hoping Roswell is my next project. I have a deal with WB so if this doesn\u2019t go, I\u2019ll keep developing new stuff with them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

MacKenzie answered Genevie’s Roswell question about Kyle, as well. Kyle Valenti was played by Nick Wechsler in the original show and is portrayed by Michael Trevino in The CW’s version. Kyle is a surgical resident, she replied. \u201cHis mom is the sheriff. He\u2019s Mexican.\u201d<\/em> She also added<\/a> about new-Kyle, \u201cHe\u2019s got cheekbones that could cut glass.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure I saw you mention this before, but Alex in Roswell is Native, correct? Which tribe or nation?\u201d<\/em> asked<\/a> Nick. \u201cHe\u2019s half. His mom is native. That\u2019s all I can say so far!\u201d<\/em> replied<\/a> Carina Adly MacKenzie. Tyler Blackburn portrays Sgt. Alex Manes, who returns home from a stint in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
