The CW picked up the reimagined Roswell, which has been renamed \u201cRoswell, New Mexico\u201d alongside \u201cCharmed\u201d, \u201cIn the Dark\u201d, \u201cLegacies\u201d, and \u201dAll American\u201d.<\/p>\n
The story of \u201cRoswell, NM\u201c, which is loosly based on the \u201cRoswell High\u201d books by Melinda Metz, was written by Carina Adly MacKenzie. Julie Plec directed the pilot and she will be back on The CW this fall with her own show, as well. \u201cLegacies\u201d is a spin-off of \u201cThe Vampire Diaries\u201d and \u201cThe Originals\u201d which tells the story of the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.<\/p>\n
