In April 2008 Variety reported that Zack Snyder had signed on to direct an animated children film “Guardians of Ga’Hoole” based on the books by Kathryn Lasky.<\/p>\n
Aussies Hugh Jackman, Hugo Weaving and Ryan Kwanten are excepted to lend their voices to the film. In addition, there are rumors that Emilie de Ravin has joined the voice cast of “Guardians of Ga’Hoole”. <\/p>\n
According to an article found on Lost-Media.com<\/a> and published on channelguidemag.wordpress.com<\/a> Emilie was cast as one of the owls:<\/p>\n \u201cI am so excited right now – I just booked my first animated job!\u201d de Ravin exclaims. \u201cIt\u2019s this movie called The Guardians of Ga\u2019hoole and Zack Snyder is directing it. It\u2019s a movie about this group of Australian owls and it\u2019s just a wonderful story. It\u2019s adapted from the [Kathryn Lasky] books.\u201d<\/p>\n And how does an actress devoted to throwing herself, heart and soul, into embodying her characters prep to become an adolescent owl?<\/p>\n \u201cThat was the thing!\u201d de Ravin laughs. \u201cI was auditioning and I was, like, \u2018Huh!
