NBC\u2019s new show \u201cCouncil of Dads\u201d aired following the season four finale of \u201cThis is Us\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cOh how I pine for the hour of its arrival. I must remember to write my dear friend @tvphelan to thank him for delivering this tale to my living room, the living room it seems I will not be leaving anytime soon.\u201d she wrote. \u201cWhat sweet sweet relief to know tonight shall be full of entertainment instead of the bleak void of one more indistinguishable day of isolation.\u201d She ended the post with a \u201cTill tomorrow dear diary, Katherine\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony Phelan, whom she mentioned in her post, is a Writer\/Director\/Exec Producer at NBC\/Universal. They worked together on \u201cDoubt\u201d. His credits include \u201cGrey’s Anatomy\u201d as well. His latest show \u201cCouncil of Dads\u201d moves to its regular time slot at 8 PM on Tuesdays on April 30. The pilot is available on NBC.com.<\/p>\n

In addition, you might have spotted a familiar face on \u201cCouncil of Dads\u201d. Michael O\u2019Neill plays Larry Mills on the new drama show. The actor played Phillip Evans in the episode \u201cThe Morning After\u201d before he joined \u201cThe West Wing\u201d as Secret Service Agent Ron Butterfield and left The WB show. The role of Mr. Evans on \u201cRoswell\u201d was recast with Garrett M. Brown. <\/p>\n

You want some more trivia? There is a \u201cRoswell\u201d connection in the thrilling season six finale of \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d. Michael O\u2019Neill who played Gary Clark, the man who blames Derek for his wife\u2019s death, appeared on \u201cRoswell\u201d. So it\u2019s Isabel\u2019s dad, who shot Izzies husband.<\/p>\n
