The CW Network will officially launch its new season in January 2021 with its regularly scheduled series line-up, while loading up Fall 2020 with fresh original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming, Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The CW Network announced on May 14, 2020.<\/p>\n
Pedowitz is quoted in the official press release: \u201cAs we manage the current crisis, we\u2019ve developed a methodical programming strategy for this year and well in to next that we believe works for The CW, our advertisers, affiliates and audience, while keeping the health and safety of our productions and creative partners front of mind.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cRoswell, New Mexico\u201d\u00a0is among seven original scripted series lined up for its 2021 midseason which includes two new series, \u201cKung Fu\u201d and \u201cThe Republic of Sarah\u201d, joining returning series DC\u2019S \u201cLegends of tomorrow\u201d, \u201cDynasty\u201d, \u201cIn the dark\u201d, \u201cRoswell, New Mexico\u201d and \u201cSupergirl\u201d.<\/p>\n
Showrunner Carina Adly MacKenzie recently had to shut down the season three writers room. She tweeted<\/a> \u201cTomorrow is our last day of work on RNM Season 3 for a while, because VIRUS, so all structure and purpose will be gone from my days.\u201d Season three of the sci-fi show could air next summer.<\/p>\n On Monday, episode S2E10 \u201cAmerican Woman\u201d airs. In this episode everything’s about secrets of the past. There’s no new episode on May 25, but the show will be back after Memorial Day hiatus with the final three episodes with the season starting June 1:<\/p>\n June 1, 2020: #211 Linger Everything\u2019s getting pushed a half a season so my guess is we\u2019ll air in June-ish?
