In order to do so, we edited a short clip of Liz Parker&#8217;s iconic opening sentence:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201dSeptember 23rd. Journal entry one. I\u2019m Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird\u2026\u201c<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cRoswell\u201d is close to hearts of fans from all around the world.\u00a0 That&#8217;s why we decided to let you hear two other versions as well.\u00a0 In some foreign countries it is common to replace the voices of the actors with voice-actors in the native language.\u00a0 Fans are often split into two groups:\u00a0 fans who like to watch the tv show\/movie in their mother language and fans who prefer the original version with subtitles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch the clip below and hear the original opening sentence spoken by the original actress Shiri Appleby, followed by German voice-actress Manja D\u00f6ring giving Liz Parker her voice.\u00a0 The third clip is the french dubbing version of this sentence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rqA_qWNWUVU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did the original version air in your country?
