The <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jMVOOeRXC9w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">second promo<\/a> went one step further, hinting at the paranormal power that our two characters are facing and set our minds racing at warp speed in order to figure out <em>what exactly it is that\u2019s going on!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So what <strong>do<\/strong> we know? Although this promo definitely leaves more questions than answers, we know that the show will be packed with \u2018Roswell\u2019 and \u2018dan\u2019 Easter Eggs. For example, the tea kettle and ginger tea is a clear nod to \u201cbee and tea\u201d (B+T) and I\u2019m sure we weren\u2019t the only ones whose hearts went pitter-patter at the sight of Colin Hanks\u2019s \u201cOrange County\u201d DVD! But if you look a bit closer, you\u2019ll notice other nods to science-fiction shows, books, and movies. It seems our alien adventures are not limited to the Whirlwind Galaxy anymore as \u2018Baron and Toluca\u2019 aims to entice fans of multiple genres, dabbling in elements that have made cinematic hits such as \u201cStranger Things\u201d and \u201cBack to the Future\u201d so popular. Indeed, H.G. Wells\u2019s \u201cThe Complete Science Fiction Treasury\u201d was evident there on the table, and Baron was clearly trying to enjoy a relaxing night in with his Ramen noodles and the \u201cSpace Soldiers\u201d episode of \u201cFlash Gordon: The Planet of Peril!\u201d And was it just us, or did all this flashing light business, time distortions, and disappearing people craziness have a distinctly \u2018Roswell\u2019 episode \u2018WipeOut\u2019 feel? Then again, maybe we\u2019re all losing our minds, Toluca.<\/p>\n<p>One thing is for sure: fans of \u2018Roswell,\u2019 paranormal mysteries, science fiction, Brendan, Majandra &#8211;and other familiar faces!&#8211;are sure losing their minds, collectively, in sheer excitement over this show, this premise, and the participation of promoting and helping to produce such an awesome love-letter to the OG Roswell fans! Within 5 hours, fans reached 1\/3 of the fixed goal (or roughly $33,000!) snatching up perks such as #BandT sticker packs, zoom calls with our favorite Roswellians, and even the opportunity to visit the set! Clearly evident is the love of a fanbase that has been loyal for over 21 years! Pardon the Mandy Moore lyrical pun, but we\u2019re \u201ccraving you like Candy\u201d and more of the hilarious dynamic and interaction between Majandra and Brendan&#8211;whether it\u2019s as Maria and Michael or as Toluca and Baron!<\/p>\n<p>We have a job to do. We\u2019re on the case now. We have a role to play and a job to do. Every dollar counts. Tell your friends! Tell your annoying office mates that drive you bananas!
