In June, Katherine Heigl’s latest movie project “Killers” hit theaters. The dramedy \u201cLife As We Know It\u201d will be released later this year and this month “One For The Money” will go into production.<\/p>\n

“One For The Money” is based on the Janet Evanovich\u2019s best selling novel of the name same and is one of a series of books based around the character Stephanie Plum. Katherine will play Stephanie and she decided to change her hair from blond to brunette in preparation for the role. The actress explained at ShoWest where she was honored as \u201cFemale Star of The Year\u201d \u201cShe is a very specific kind of girl, so I just wanted to show the legion of fans that I will be your vision of Stephanie Plum. It\u2019s important. I hate when my favorite books are made into films and they are just not what you expect.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

At the “Killers” press junket in Beverly Hills a few weeks ago MTV News sat down with Katherine and spoke with her to get the scoop on new movie “One For The Money”:
