Last year in May they tied the knot.<\/p>\n<blockquote>[&#8230;] How did Mr. Hanks and his girlfriend meet? \u201cWe had the same group of friends and knew of each other, but never paid attention to it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Gradually, they became friends \u2014 and more. Until that point, Ms. Bryant said, \u201che was the perfect gentleman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want it on the record,\u201d Mr. Hanks declared to all at the table, \u201cthat I was the perfect gentleman.\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/04\/19\/fashion\/19night.html?_r=1\" target=\"_blank\">nytimes.com<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For Tom Hanks is Olivia Jane Hanks the first grandchild and she&#8217;s the first child for the new parents as well. Colin posted a thank you message on Twitter and his father just tweeted <em>&#8220;Thanx for the good wishes on our Grand daughter.
