Chances are, if you haven’t discovered and fallen under the spell of “Roswell” by now, it’s too late. Since its premiere a year and a half ago, WB’s drama series about the teenagers of Roswell, N.M. — some human, some alien — has worked through so many plot twists and so much character development that catching up would be a daunting assignment.
Tonight’s show, as it happens, is an exception. Yes, there are some details and references that will likely slip past you if you’re not reasonably familiar with the show’s intricate body of lore.
