THE WB UP 76% YEAR-TO-YEAR IN WOMEN 18-34 ON MONDAY NIGHT LED BY ANOTHER REMARKABLE
“7TH Heaven” Wins Night in Women 12-34 &BURBANK, CA (November 14, 2000)
The WB had another remarkable night last night led by “7th HEAVEN” which won finished second in its timeslot in women 18-34 (5.7/15) and was #1 for the night in women 12-34 (7.4/20) and#1 in its time period in persons 12-34 (5.1/14) and beat its chief rival “Boston Public” in seven key demographics including women 18-34 (5.7/15), women 12-34 (7.4/20) and women 18-49 (5.7/14). In all, 7TH HEAVEN had a clean sweep of the highest ratings for the show in every demo, households (6.8/10, the network�s second-highest ever) and total viewers (10.4 million) for the series since February 1998.
7TH HEAVEN also popped with The WB�s second-highest rating ever in adults 18-49 (4.1/10) and women 18-49 (5.7/14) and the series second best effort in adults 18-34 (4.0/11) and women 18-34 (5.7/15). It was the family drama�s third best delivery ever in persons 12-34 (5.1/14), females 12-34 (7.4/20) and men 18-34 (2.2/6).ROSWELL did nothing to stop its momentum as the second-year show achieved season highs in four key demos including persons 12-34 (2.9/7) and women 12-34 (4.0/10) and scored a 60% year-to-year timeslot increase in women 18-34 (3.2/7). Season-to-date, ROSWELL is up +100% in the timeslot in adults 18-34 (2.1/5), +82% in women 18-34 (3.2/7) and +117% in men 18-34.
The two series combined for The WB�s best-ever Monday in women 18-34 (4.4/11), adults 18-49 (3.1/7) and women 18-49 (4.3/10).
Through 12 days of the sweep, The WB�s growth story keeps picking up momentum. In adults 18-34 (2.4/7) and 18-49 The WB is up 33% and 25% respectively while ABC is down �25% & -21%; Fox is down �11% and �4%; CBS is down �4% and �5% while NBC is up +7% & +6% respectively in adults 18-34 and 18-49.
In total viewers The WB is up 13% sweep to date compared to losses at ABC, CBS and Fox and a slight increase at NBC of +4%.
