With the television science-fiction world expanding with “Special Unit 2” on Wednesday, and the new UPN series “All Souls” on April 17, here’s how other sci-fi shows are faring on the netwroks (NEILSEN rankings are for the season through April 1):
“The X-files” 8 p.m. Sunday, Fox.
Neilson ranking # 49….Then they have a caption. “Its fate it’s still out there – ” blah blah blah….
“Dark Angel” 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Fox.
Neilson ranking # 63….“…the show is very expensive to make… will fox renew it on a relatively low numbers?”
“7 Days” 7 p.m. Wednesday, UPN.
Neilson ranking # 127….“…being removed in favor of ‘Special Unit 2’… ‘Unit’ does better than ‘7’…”
“Charmed” 8 p.m. Thursday, the WB.
Neilson ranking # 140….“…it doesn’t get as much publicity as other shows.”
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” 7 p.m. Tuesday, the WB.
Neilson ranking # 143…“The series will return but not known where – ”
“Angel” 8 p.m. Tuesday, the WB.
Neilson ranking # 146….“…how will it fare without its compatible lead-in?”
“Roswell” 8 p.m. Monday, the WB.
Neilson ranking # 148….“Teen alien series, winning a second season because of rabid fans, has been dark for several weeks [this is because of that HIATUS] in favor of heightening the profile of ‘Gilmore Girls’; new episodes begin Monday, but fans might not be able to help this time because the ratings DON’T support IT.
