Katherine to produce and star in HBO movie “The Knitting Circle”

Katherine Heigl is set star in the movie adaptation of Ann Hood’s best-selling novel, “The Knitting Circle”, Kheigl.com reports.

[…] Katherine will play Mary Baxter, the central character in Hood’s semi autobiographical novel, about a mother mourning the death of her young daughter and struggling to overcome the grief that jeopardizes every aspect of her life, including her marriage. The book tells the tale of how she begins to find her way back into the world through a knitting circle and the stories its members share.
