“Doubt” Ordered to Series at CBS

Katherine Heigl’s pilot “Doubt” has been ordered to series.

“Doubt” tells the story of a smart, chic, successful defense lawyer (Katherine Heigl) at a boutique firm as she starts to fall for her charismatic client, who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime.

The cast also includes Laverne Cox, Steven Pasquale, Dulé Hill, Dreama Walker, Elliott Gould and Kobi Libii. Katherine reunites with Tony Phelan and Joan Rater on the project. They worked together on “Grey’s Anatomy”.

Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman and Adam Bernstein will serve as executive producers. Adam Bernstein directed the pilot. CBS Television Studios will produce. Originally the pilot was developed a year ago for the 2015-2016 season and was re-developed and re-shot last October.
