Could not be happier to do this thing with these people. 👽 https://t.co/Jn9Bmw0mY4

I let Rebecca watch the pilot even though I wasn’t allowed to let anyone watch the pilot because I needed validation from a die-hard OG Roswell fan. SHE LIKED IT GUYS. https://t.co/6qEgoLhyEQ

Thank you guys for all of the congratulations. This is the weirdest time to be in the TV business. So much joy and so much heartbreak all at once. Feels weird to celebrate when so many friends are getting bad news.
And so… we drink.

We. Have. A. Show. !!!!!
I’m about to embarrass myself but whatever. I get to spend this year (and maybe a few more) working with people I love on a project I believe in and I’m so excited.
@julieplec directed the hell out of a beast of a pilot and held my hand through the whole process. How lucky I am to get to have you as a mentor and a confidante.
@lpetzke is the glue of the entire operation — you work harder than literally anyone I’ve ever met in my life and you are so creative and focused and inspiring.
@onetrickphony I’m so glad you are going to write this show with me because your magical fingerprints have been all over it from the beginning. thank you for introducing poetry to this family.
@itsjeaninemason, I am so humbled that you wanted to do this project, because you are the Liz Ortecho of my wildest dreams. BEYOND, actually. I don’t think I could have even dreamed you up if I tried.
@nathandeanparsons, I thought I knew what you were capable of, but you surprised me in the very best way every day, on screen and off. thanks for being my person.
@michaelvlamis VLAMITO, we are all nothing without you. you’re going to be everyone’s favorite, I already know.
@lilycowles you furry goddess, I’m so inspired by your confidence and your sparkle. you are somehow elegant and chaotic all at once and it’s a dream.
@heatherhemmens you are the actual opposite of Alice. the instant you auditioned I was 100% sure and I have only been more sure ever since. you bring all of the light.
@michaeltrevino I am SO proud of you and SO honored to work with you (again, kinda). you changed the way I see Kyle and I can’t wait to challenge you because I know you’re going to kill it in every way.
@tylerjblackburn I am so honored that you wanted to do this — your audition made me cry (and makes me cry when I think about it) and the amount of heart you bring to this character is humbling & makes me want to be a better writer. LOVE.
And she added in the comments:
TREVOR ST. JOHN isn’t on instagram but — the commitment and focus you bring to this character gave me chills every time I watched the pilot. You’re such a catch. KARAN OBEROI — holy shit, you’re a good sport. thank you for keeping us laughing even when you were all tied up. you’re amazing and I’m real stoked to put clothes on you.
Heather Hemmens reacted to the post saying, “Carina I love you so much and am so thankful to be in this Alien Family you’ve created!! So many feels uggghhh #Roswell #Vlamily 👽💚”
Julie Plec, who also received good news about her own The CW pilot project “Legacies” added, “You killed it and you deserve all of this. Congrats.” Plec’s show is a spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” which tells the story of the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted.
Lauren Petzke also left a comment telling MacKenzie, “You crushed it Carina and It was such an epic experience to be a part of.. can’t wait for it to continue with every awesome person mentioned above! ❤❤❤ #allthefeels #sororityrow4ever #vlambase #roswellnm”
