“Friday Night Lights” Reboot In The Works

Deadline reports that a new iteration of the football drama “Friday Night Lights” is in the works at Universal Television with Jason Katims, Pete Berg and Brian Grazer.

The show ran for five seasons and Jason Katims was a head writer and executive producer on the show.

According to Deadline it’s believed to be a new story, still set in the world of high school football, with new characters rather than the previous cast.
